Define Living Acquires 10-Acre Wolff Companies Central Park Site in Houston Energy Corridor for Second Wellness-Focused Apartment Community

Houston-based Define Living, the wellness-centered multifamily brand redefining the rental experience, today announced it has acquired a 10.4-acre Central Park parcel from Houston-based Wolff Companies. The site will serve as the location for its second residential community, Define Living: Park Row, situated on Park Row Blvd near I-10 and Central Park West Blvd in Houston’s Energy Corridor.

Exclusive wellness amenities include daily DEFINE fitness classes, indoor cycling and yoga studios, a state-of-the-art fitness center, infrared sauna and cold plunge, resort-style lap pool, two pickleball courts, a dog park and pet-friendly features, bicycle spa, fresh juice for post-workout recovery, direct access to scenic walking and biking trails, and a personal wellbeing coach for every resident.

Memorial Hermann Health System Acquires 40+ Acres in Wolff Companies’ Beacon Hill

Memorial Hermann Health System has acquired 40.3 acres within Wolff Companies’ 587-acre Beacon Hill development along U.S. 290 in Waller, Texas. The acquisition gives the health system the opportunity for future growth in a region with a rapidly expanding population.

Wolff Companies & Texas Department of Transportation Break Ground on the US 290 Beacon Hill Interchange, Significant Access Improvements to the Northwest Freeway Development

Wolff Companies and the Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) held ground-breaking ceremonies today on the U.S. 290 Beacon Hill Interchange, which will create significant access improvements along U.S. 290 in Waller. The access improvements include:
• an off-ramp for a new 290 interchange, named Beacon Hill Boulevard, located west of FM 362;
• a mile-long U.S. 290 frontage road, connecting Beacon Hill Boulevard to James R. Muse Parkway;
• an auxiliary lane from the entrance ramp from FM 362 to the Beacon Hill exit; and
• a U-turn under U.S. 290 at James R. Muse Parkway, to aid traffic flow from Beacon Hill toward Houston.

Wolff Companies Carolyn W. Dorros Named Honoree in Bisnow’s Third Annual Houston Women Leading Real Estate Awards

Carolyn W. Dorros, executive vice president at Wolff Companies, will be recognized among the honorees of Bisnow’s third annual Women Leading Real Estate (WLRE) in Houston event on December 8, 2022, where she will also be one of the featured speakers. The initiative recognizes top-level executives and industry leaders who shape commercial real estate. The core purpose of Bisnow’s award program is to enhance the participation of women in commercial real estate and promote industry diversity. Wolff Companies Acquires 23 More Acres for Beacon Hill Master-Planned Community

Wolff Companies announced today the acquisition of an additional 22.7 acres of land along U.S. 290 in Waller County from the McCaig Family Limited Partnership. A portion of the tract, which is situated east of Beacon Hill and approximately 1,200 feet west of FM 362, will be dedicated to drainage and detention improvements, with nearly 11 acres of the land available for future commercial development. Together, the 521 acres in the original Beacon Hill development, along with the latest acquisition and the 43-acre tract at the corner of James R. Muse and U.S. 290 purchased in January 2021, will create a 587-acre master-planned environment, including a business park and a residential subdivision, in the growing submarket.

Hines Acquires Nearly 80 Acres in Beacon Hill from Wolff Companies

Hines, the international real estate firm, has acquired 78 acres in Wolff Companies’ 564-acre, mixed-use Beacon Hill development along highway U.S. 290 in Waller, Texas for a build-to-suit project. NAI Partners’ John Simons, Gray Gilbert and Chris Haro represented Wolff Companies in the transaction, which is the first industrial sale in the development. Wolff Companies previously sold 270 acres to Long Lake Ltd. to develop a residential subdivision in the northern section of the master-planned community. The sale price was undisclosed.

Wolff Companies Sells Last Ten Oaks Parcel to AHS Residential for Area’s First Residential High-Rise

AHS Residential has acquired the last remaining parcel in Wolff Companies’ Ten Oaks, an 83-acre master-planned development situated at the west end of The Energy Corridor, the central business district in the greater west Houston metropolitan area. AHS plans to develop three 12-story apartment towers with 576 units on the 6.6-acre site.

Houston’s largest privately-owned homebuilder, Long Lake Ltd., and its development arm, Woodmere Development Co., announced today the opening of their Lake Ridge and Briarwood model homes and sales office in the residential section of Beacon Hill, a 564-acre master-planned environment in Waller County currently under development by Wolff Companies.
