Congratulations to NAIOP Broker of the Year Winners

Top commercial real estate professionals in Houston’s commercial brokerage community were recognized last night by the Houston Chapter of the Commercial Real Estate Development Association (NAIOP) as the organization announced the winners at its 28th annual Broker of the Year Awards.

The Industrial Deal of the Year award was presented to Andy Iverson with Jackson Cooksey, for the largest single industrial transaction in 2015, the new Daikin Industries, Inc. facility on US 290. Office Deal of the Year honors went to John Lee of CBRE for the Stage Stores headquarters lease.

Industrial and Office Rising Star Awards, awarded to brokers with five or less years of experience, were bestowed to Reed Vestal of Lee & Associates Commercial Real Estate Services and Morgan L. Relyea of Cushman & Wakefield, respectively.

Reggie Beavan with Jackson Cooksey was recognized as Industrial Broker of the Year.

Mark O’Donnell, Executive Vice President with Savills Studley received Office Broker of the Year accolades.

The Houston Chapter also inducted Jonathan (“Jon”) D. Farris, SIOR, CCIM, Managing Director of Stream Realty Partners, into its Hall of Fame, citing his years of experience, performance, and leadership in the brokerage community.
