Beltway Business Park is a 400-acre commercial business center located in southwest Houston.
Overview
Created by the founders of Wolff Companies in 1970, Beltway is considered one of Houston’s first deed-restricted business park environments. It is located on the east side of the Sam Houston Tollway (Beltway 8) just south of the Westpark Toll Road and north of Bellaire Boulevard.
The original development plan called for 200 acres of business or light industrial uses, 100 acres of garden apartments and 100 acres of retail/commercial uses. The initial purchasers of sites in the park included Gulf Oil Corporation, Westinghouse Electric Corporation, Hewlett-Packard Company, Gulf States Toyota, Inc., Coors Distributing Company and many others. All sites in this now fully-completed business center have been sold and developed.
