Kelsey-Seybold Clinic to build 2nd Cypress location
By Katherine Feser, Houston Chronicle
Kelsey-Seybold Clinic will add a second clinic in the Cypress area northwest of Houston in the Fairfield master planned community as part of an effort to provide comprehensive healthcare close to where people live.
The clinic, along with others under construction in the Memorial Villages, Stafford and Westchase, will add to Houston-based Kelsey-Seybold’s 30 locations across greater Houston.
Kelsey-Seybold announced it will build the 24,220-square-foot Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – Fairfield at 27020 Northwest Freeway, between Spring-Cypress and Mueschke Roads, next to Costco. Opening is planned this fall.
The clinic will have room for up to 12 providers offering primary and specialty care for adults and children, on-site X-ray, ultrasound, mammography, a Kelsey Pharmacy and laboratory services. Additionally, more specialty care will be added to Kelsey-Seybold’s Cypress Clinic, which opened at U.S. 290 and F.M. 1960 in late 2019.
The new location will serve patients living and working in northwest Cypress, Fairfield, Bridgeland, Blackhorse Ranch, Cole’s Crossing and other nearby communities under development.
Powers Brown Architecture designed the facility. Gamma Construction will serve as the general contractor.
The new Cypress location is the second expansion announced this year. Earlier this month, South Shore Medical Center was integrated into the Kelsey-Seybold multispecialty healthcare system and is now known as Kelsey-Seybold Clinic – South Shore. The clinic is at 201 Enterprise Ave. in League City.
