HBJ/HAR Hall of Fame Inductees
Developing News!
A new Hall of Fame inductee enters the “Cooperstown” of Houston Commercial Brokerage today…
And Wolff Companies returns for our seventh year to sponsor the Houston Business Journal/Houston Association of Realtors® Heavy Hitters and Most Valuable Player Awards, published in today’s HBJ.
This year, the Heavy Hitters section also honors Sidney V. Smith, whose passing in December 2005 was a loss not only to our industry, but also to the entire city. Few make a lifetime impact worthy of Hall of Fame recognition, but Sid’s legacy reaches from Minute Maid Park, to The Galleria, to One Shell Plaza, and beyond to a wide range of civic and philanthropic causes. Read Sid Smith’s profile in today’s HBJ and extend a word of congratulations to his colleagues at McDade, Smith, Gould, Johnston, Mason + Company, who accept the Hall of Fame award in Sid Smith’s memory.
And, join us in honoring the 2005 Most Valuable Players, the top ten brokers who hit homeruns with the year’s most important deals. They are:
Steve Montgomery – Cushman & Wakefield of Texas, Inc.
Scott Wegmann – Cushman & Wakefield of Texas, Inc.
Charles Gordon – CB Richard Ellis
Jon Silberman – NAI Houston
Kelley Parker – Cushman & Wakefield of Texas, Inc.
David Cook – Cushman & Wakefield of Texas, Inc.
John Ferruzo – NAI Houston
George Cushing – Grubb & Ellis
Craig LaFollette – CB Richard Ellis
Stan Creech – Stan Creech Properties
Wolff Companies has been honored to work with so many outstanding brokers at our active properties, including Interwood, Ten Oaks and Westway Park, as well as in, Park 10, First Crossing, Beltway and our many other completed projects. Congratulations to each of the honorees, for your professionalism, energy and commitment to our industry.
