Carolyn W. Dorros Receives Connect CRE 2020 Women in Real Estate Award
Carolyn W. Dorros, executive vice president at Wolff Companies, was named yesterday as a Houston winner of the Connect CRE 2020 Women in Real Estate Award in the Texas category. The award recognizes women whose achievements and inspirational stories place them in respected positions of leadership and role models for others in commercial real estate.

Dorros joined Wolff Companies in 2006 and currently serves as executive vice president, with a focus on oversight and management of the company’s financial assets portfolio as well as strategic planning, acquisitions, sales, marketing and communications. Prior to joining Wolff Companies, she served as the administrative director of neurosciences at Stanford Medical Center, and previously as director of business development. She built on her health care experience in the development of Ten Oaks and Central Park projects in Houston’s Energy Corridor, both of which are now home to major healthcare institutions.
Dorros graduated cum laude from Dartmouth College in 1997 and from Harvard Business School in 2003, where she earned honors in her second year. She served as President of the Harvard Business School Club of Houston and Chair of her 10-year class reunion.
Deeply involved in the Houston community, Dorros currently serves on the Board of Texas Children’s Hospital, where she chairs the Risk Management and Compliance Committee; the Board of the Buffalo Bayou Partnership, where she chairs the Nominations Committee, the Board of West Houston Association as the organization’s Secretary; the Board of St. John’s School, where she chairs the investment committee. She is a former chair of Breakthrough Houston and board member of New Hope Housing.
