Interwood Prospective View - Wolff Companies

Suhm began business in Houston more than 115 years ago, and has since evolved into a highly specialized, world-class manufacturing facility serving the oil and gas, petrochemical, heavy equipment, nuclear, aerospace and defense industries. The new facility will be just one mile south of Bush Intercontinental Airport, providing Suhm with easy access to worldwide distribution facilities. Rosenberger Construction is building Suhm’s new home, which was designed by Munson Kennedy Architects of Houston. The construction of Suhm’s new facility represents the continuation of construction in what may be one of Houston’s most active light industrial sub-markets. In Interwood, Pelican Worldwide, Inc. is wrapping up construction on its 41,600-square foot global headquarters and primary distribution center, the Social Security Administration’s Office of Dispute Adjudication and Resolution is constructing a 19,350-square-foot facility, at FM 525 and Heathrow Forest Parkway, and Chipolbrok Americas recently moved into its new 46,800-square foot headquarters facility.

In the past 24 months, there have been 17 facilities completed or commenced totaling just under one million square feet. Halliburton and GE Oil & Gas also are also constructing major new expansions on their campuses immediately west of Interwood.
