MD Anderson

MD Anderson Cancer Center, the number one cancer hospital in the United States, has acquired 34.5 acres in Central Park. Originally planned to be 175,000 square feet at a cost of just under $114 million, MD Anderson has broken ground on a $169-million, 260,000-square-foot world-class outpatient diagnostic and treatment center, expanding to the rapidly growing West Houston area as well as to out-of-town patients traveling from points west and outside of the metropolitan region. The new center will open in 2018.
