Congratulations to NAIOP’s Annual Broker of the Year Winners
Last night almost 500 representatives of Houston’s leading developer, investor and brokerage firms gathered to recognize the top commercial real estate professionals for 2013. The Houston Chapter of the Commercial Real Estate Development Association (NAIOP) announced the winners during its annual Broker of the Year Awards.
Award winners represent the top brokerage individuals and companies in commercial real estate.
Starting off the ceremony was the induction of David Cook with Cushman & Wakefield of Texas, Inc. into the NAIOP Houston Hall of Fame. A two time past Industrial Broker of the Year winner, David joins a who’s who of Houston’s leading brokers.
Sanford Criner of CBRE Richard Ellis received Office Broker of the Year accolades. John Nicholson with Cassidy Turley was recognized as Industrial Broker of the Year
The Chapter also recognized those young rookies who are just getting started but already making their impact in the community. These included Nick Peterson of NAI Houston and Jeremy Hunt with Stream Realty Partners, who were bestowed Industrial and Office Rising Star Awards, respectively.
The Industrial Deal of the Year award was presented to Cushman & Wakefield of Texas, Inc. for the “Intermarine” industrial transaction in 2013. Office Deal of the Year honors went to Studley for the “Statoil Gulf Services” lease in Westchase.
Stream Realty Partners was recognized with the Pacesetter Award.
