These Areas are Hot for Apartment Rentals

The energy industry is driving multifamily development, with the number of new units under development more than tripling in one area over the last year.

Construction has started for two separate properties in the CityCentre area on 4.6 acres total in the Energy Corridor. The two complexes, to be named Pearl CityCentre and Pearl Residences at CityCentre, are expected to open in fall 2015. Also in the Corridor, The Worthing Cos. of Atlanta will construct a 342-unit luxury complex on a 9-acre site in the Wolff Cos.’ Central Park, a 78-acre mixed-use development located on the north side of Interstate 10 between North Eldridge Parkway and Highway 6. It will begin leasing in October.
