M.D. Anderson snags prime tract in Energy Corridor

 

 

Alongside the bustling traffic on Interstate 10, an unscathed tract of land in the Energy Corridor has beckoned developers for more than four decades.

The land, known as Central Park, had been under contract several times to various companies over the years, but all previous plans on the 82 acres fell through until last week, when the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center inked a $34.1 million deal.
